Week 1 is in the books and I am happy to report we are right on schedule. I was able to check several things off my to do list which felt pretty great! We did, however, have a slight challenge with the vanity. It is exactly 1 inch wider than standard, which means the original top I was looking at will not work and there are no stock tops in the size I need, so custom vanity top it is.
I headed down to my local kitchen and bath showroom, Lisac Kitchen & Bathroom, to see if they had any remnants in their yard that would work with my design. Luckily I was able to find a piece of Kerrock countertop in a grey marble pattern that will go perfectly with everything else I have picked out. They will fabricate the vanity top for me to the exact dimensions I need and since it was from a remnant piece, they gave me a great deal. AND they can do it in a couple of days - yay!
So this is what we accomplished in the first week:
Painted vanity
Ordered and received the faucet, towel ring and mirror
Ordered light fixture
Painted primer on floor
Ordered custom vanity top
